SWOT is a useful technique for understanding the Strengths and Weaknesses of a project, and for identifying both the Opportunities open to you and the Threats you face during the project cycle. - **Competitor Analysis
**It is a process of gathering and analysing information about your competitors, their practices, products, strengths and weaknesses and business trends in order to assess your position in the market and improve your design strategies. - **Business Culture
**The business culture determines how different levels of staff communicate with one another as well as how employees deal with clients and customers. It is rooted in an organisation’s goals, strategies, structure, and approaches to labor, customers, investors, and the greater community.

- **Content Audit
**It is accounting of all currently published web content and a stage of content strategy. It is a qualitative analysis of information assets on a website; that is, the assessment of content and its relationship to surrounding information assets within specified website content analysis parameters. - **Heuristic Evaluation
**It is a usability inspection method for a product that helps to identify usability problems in the user interface (UI) design. Usability experts review your site’s interface and compare it against accepted usability principles. The analysis results in a list of potential usability issues. - **Stakeholder Interviews
**Stakeholder Interviews are conversations with your key stakeholders such as your customers, bosses, subordinates or peers both within and outside your organisation. The interviews allow you to step into the shoes of your interviewees and see your role through the eyes of these stakeholders. It answers the questions: What do your stakeholders want from you? What do they need you for? etc.
