The Digest
One email a month. Worth the inbox space.
I write about what happens to product work when execution stops being the expensive part — judgment, AI systems, and the practices that survive the change. Once a month I send the version worth reading.
The Digest
Get my latest thoughts on product strategy, AI agents, and design directly in your inbox. No spam, ever.
What is in each issue
One idea
Whatever I have been chewing on that month, argued properly rather than summarised. Usually something I got wrong first.
What I published
Essays, new entries in the Two-Speed Engine ledger, and talks — with the actual finding, not just a title and a link.
One thing worth your time
Something someone else made that I actually read, and why it is worth your attention.
The honest version
- Once a month. Not weekly, not whenever I feel like it. If there is nothing worth sending, you get nothing.
- I answer replies. The list is small and that is currently its best feature. Disagreeing with me is the most useful thing you can do with it.
- No spam, no selling your address. One-click unsubscribe in every email, and it works.
Read something first
Reasonable to want a sample before handing over an address. These are the pieces the newsletter tends to grow out of:
- The Designer in the Age of AI — what reads as human is specification, not authorship.
- The Two-Speed Engine ledger — every software practice audited: endures, transforms, dissolves, emerges.
- Everything else — the full archive.
