2025 Year-End Notes to Self

2025 Year-End Notes to Self
Rejection is Redirection
If 2024 was about reaching new heights, 2025 was a masterclass in the saying, “Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.”
The year didn’t go according to the script I wrote in January, but it ended with a chapter better than I could have imagined. It was a year of resilience, rapid disruption, and ultimately, a new beginning.

The Pivot & The Genesis
The plan was clear: start my Master’s degree in August 2025. I had left my full-time job in October 2024 to prepare and consult independently. However, a visa rejection in August threw a wrench in the works.
- The Learning: Sometimes, a “No” from the universe is just a forceful redirection toward a bigger “Yes.”
- The Spark: During my consulting work, I witnessed the rapid disruption caused by AI firsthand. It wasn’t just a buzzword; it was shifting the tectonic plates of how we work. Somewhere in that chaos, the dots connected.
- The Milestone: I spent the last quarter of the year heads-down, turning an idea into a reality. In December 2025, we officially registered Facilitron Private Limited.
I ended the year not as a student, but as a Founder.
Giving Back: Building Stages & Sharing Knowledge
Community has always been my anchor. In 2025, I focused on democratizing AI and Product knowledge, ensuring that as I learned, I pulled others up with me.

- Events: Mentor at #MADX2025 and AI-thon 2025.
- Volunteering: Served as a “Human Library” as part of a welfare program.
Work & Products
Before Facilitron was born, I spent the year as an independent consultant. This phase was crucial — it wasn’t just about “keeping busy”; it was about refining my craft across different domains.
Key Projects:
- SaaS for Social Media DM Automation: Helped bridge the gap between abstract ideation and tangible product development.
- Shopify App Development: Revamped the UI/UX ecosystem for a development agency.
- Home Automation: Worked on a next-gen product utilizing the Matter protocol.
- Network Monitoring App: Led a complete UI/UX revamp to improve data visualization and usability.
- IT Services Organization: Consulted on defining their core Brand Value and market positioning.
Beyond consulting, this year was about shipping my own products.
- Launched:
trycalpal.app
- Founded: Facilitron Private Limited
